The Visionaries USA is a National Business Club made up of top-level executives, business owners, and company decision makers. One of the differences between us and a chamber of commerce, is that we're all company decision makers. Individuals who have a vision to be effective, and who actively seek out what is possible. Not just in their business, but in their community. Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.

You, too, can start making a difference, just as The Visionaries have pledged to do.
Please take an opportunity to tour our website.
Our events have proven to be a wonderful opportunity for our members to learn from each other.
I encourage you to take advantage of the nominal cost, and join our group.

THE VISIONARIES USA is in the process of developing a scholarship program for those women who desire to further their education after being in the workforce. In today’s business world we are familiar with seeing women in senior and managerial roles, but being a woman in business brings whole new elements into play in the terms of values and attitudes in the business world. Although there have been a great many advances since the days of my mother who was not expected to work once she had children, women have still not reached the level of equality you would expect in this day and age.
The following are some common problems that affect every business at some point in their life cycle, regardless of industry:
Lack of focus and strategic direction - Management and staff that are unclear on strategic direction leads to confusion and low morale. This is often caused by a lack of integrity within the leadership of an organization, such as when management says one thing yet does another.
Waste of resources - When efforts, processes or resources are duplicated, it leads to inefficiencies and low productivity. This happens when teams work as individuals instead of as a group, each having their own idea as to how tasks should be completed, creating inconsistencies in execution.
Lack of accountability for results - When a organization’s infrastructure is poorly designed, accountability for results becomes impossible to measure. Because problems can’t be sourced, management has little recourse in fixing them.
Lack of company understanding - Many organizations lack metric tools to understand whether their products/services are satisfying customers or whether their strategies to grow or improve the company are actually working.
Unrealistic assessment of current condition - Often times, an organization’s top leaders see conditions more optimistically than the management team. This happens because the truth is simply too overwhelming to confront. Without the proper tools and training in place, the organization will fall short of their potential.
Lack of employee development and education - Organizations are often apathetic about investing in their employees because they perceive – and statistics support their conclusion – that training doesn’t work, that their employees don’t want more responsibility and they will eventually turnover anyway, so the investment is wasted. Consequently, this “contribution deficit” becomes a chronic condition.
Lack of teamwork and cooperation - Teams that are offered ownership of a process and are held accountable for their results thrive and succeed. Often times, however, internal departments operate as islands and become wasteful and demoralized because they function inconsistently and dependant on the attitude of workers on any given day. If you experience any of these common problems, you’re not alone. Using our proven processes, we believe you can realize drastic improvement within your organization.
